  • Empire Group’s Inside Sales Representatives partner with our marketing and sales teams to help them develop the sales pipeline with high quality opportunities. The ISR is responsible for communicating with potential customers via phone and email in an attempt to close a sale. This role is a critical part of the sales process that allows us to achieve our growth objectives. The ISR positions are also a training ground for outside sales and marketing for those that are interested. This position is based in Attleboro, MA

  • In this position, you will be responsible for operating assigned machining equipment in supporting the manufacturing needs of the company. This includes preventative maintenance and machine changeovers.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    -Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

    -Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.

    -Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.

    -Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

    -Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

    -Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

    -Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Technical Skills

    -Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred

    -Should be proficient with CNC controls and manually operated milling equipment.

    -Proficient in programming in CAD and CAM software (SolidWorks, Solid CAM)

    -Must possess strong knowledge of machines and tools with regard to safety, use and repair.

  • Senior model makers are responsible for the development and execution of the assigned projects or project assemblies.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    SMM should be proficient in all aspects of Prototype Development Model Making. This includes CAD development, Med-Tech knowledge, Model prep, Finishing and assemblies of finished models to established QA standards. Be able to work in team environment, as well work individual from start to finish on projects assigned. SMM’s should responsible for all their own basic tools for fabrication and measuring. Materials and equipment for Finishing and Painting will be supplied by the company.

    Education & Experience:

    -Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Model Making or another relevant field

    -Minimum 7 to 10 years in the trade with no less 3 years at a Senior Level or equivalent

    Required Skills, Competencies, Authorities and Training Needs:

    -Strong working knowledge and experience using a variety of materials such as 3D Resin Parts, model board, wood, metal, plastics, urethanes, and other similar materials

    -Strong working knowledge of Model Shop equipment such as saws, milling machines, routers, jointers, drill press, sanders and band tools, laser cutters

    -Proficient skill set in using CAD software development. Solid Works experience is a plus.

    -Experience in using Paint systems that include Urethane paint or equivalent materials

    -Strong Model finishing skill set. This includes all Model Prep for Finish, Fit and Function prior to Paint Operations.

    -Problem-solving skills both Creative and Logical for sound model making/prototyping principles

    -Detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision

    -Organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and quality

    -Manages multiple tasks concurrently

    -Understands client’s needs as they relate to model making and/or prototyping

    Nature of Role: Reporting to the Prototype Manager, the Rapid Prototype Technician is responsible for the post processing of models utilizing various Rapid Prototype technologies.

    Responsibilities:

    -Setup, operation, and maintenance of various rapid prototype machines

    -Provide post-processing support for the completion of rapid prototype models

    -Communicate and execute model post process work to meet customer expectations

    -Maintain RP shop area in a safe and orderly condition

    -Maintain RP machines and support equipment in proper working order

    -Communicate with internal personnel, providing information on project status and expected completion dates

    Nature of Role: Reporting to the Controller, the Courier will be a key member of the operations team, primarily responsible for distributing packages, prototypes, and documents between Empire Group and our clients.

    Responsibilities:

    -Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner

    -Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied

    -Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles

  • Empire Group is seeking a full-time high-energy, dynamic Assistant Marketing Manager to aid with the planning and implementation of our marketing and advertising activities under the support and guidance of the Marketing Manager.

    For this role, you should have a deep understanding of the full marketing mix and be able to quickly and effectively conduct market research, analyze customer behavior, and translate the information into effective strategies for marketing communications in all forms. A strong understanding of content marketing, SEO/SEM, marketing automation, and sales enablement is required for this position as well as is the ability to strategically shift priorities and focus as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    -Supporting the Marketing Manager and sales team with project organization, management and execution.

    -Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities.

    -Employing online marketing analytics and tools to gather information from marketing campaigns and report on activities.

    -Executing marketing automations and workflows and assisting with the maintenance and accuracy of CRM data.

    -Working with external vendors, agencies, and media to execute on marketing activities and report on campaign success.

    -Preparing promotional presentations, collateral, and campaign assets, and organizing promotional events.

    -Composing and posting online content for the company’s social media page and website.

    -Website maintenance, and landing page creation.

    -Building strong relationships with customers and vendors and sourcing content for case studies, whitepapers and blogs.

    Position Requirements:

    -Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.

    -A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

    -At minimum of 2 years of experience working with Marketing Automation tools.

    -An in-depth knowledge of Marketing Automation, CRM, and CMS systems. (Hubspot, Sharpspring etc)

    -Intermediate knowledge of Google AdWords, SEO, and Analytics.

    -Understanding of advanced marketing principals.

    -Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.

    -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    -Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.

    -Adobe program experience such as InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator is a plus.

    -Video production or photography skills are also a bonus.

    -Education and/or experience in service marketing, B2B, or industrial marketing is preferred.
