At Empire Group, digital protection is our top priority as we continue to grow. As the same protections seen in the defense industry trickle down into all verticals, people are looking for ways to protect against data breaches. Empire has always strived to protect data, especially in our earlier days when we didn’t have the resources to keep 3D printing in-house.

Handling clients’ data is very sensitive, and the team at Empire works hard to ensure it is protected. In addition to bringing all of our work in-house, we’ve chosen ISO 27001 as our framework for data protection. Having this certification will make it easier for us to comply with other standards the government may pass down, such as CMMC Level 3. With the help of MassMEP and the resources our state provides, the certification process has become much simpler for smaller companies like ours.
